Each event will begin streaming a few minutes prior to the scheduled start time. As soon as you click on the live event name (or logo), the media file begins to stream. (There can be a slight delay depending on your connection speed).

The minimum requirements for Betfair Live Video are:

The results of these tests need to be around 450kbits/s in order to successfully stream the 300k 'Low' videos and need to be around 750kbits/s in order to successfully stream the 600k 'High' videos. Please take into account fluctuations in local bandwidth and other connections open on your PC. Please contact your Broadband provider directly to resolve these issues.

Make sure that your computer has a sound card to play the audio and your audio levels are turned up. If you do have a sound card, the content that is being played probably uses compression software that is not installed on your computer. this issue may also occur if there is not enough bandwidth to play both audio and video. You may receive sound even though the video is not present because audio requires less available bandwidth.

If your live video stream indicates that it has "Timed Out" then it may just have been a temporary interruption in the connection. You can resume the stream by clicking on the event link again. If you continue to have trouble please contact Betfair Customer Service.

Digital Rights Management (DRM) is used to view the match which means that a video streaming feed is licensed to a PC. Therefore, it will only work on a PC that is logged-on to a valid account. If you e-mail/text the link to another machine, it will simply not work. You will receive the following advisory message: This match has been accessed from another computer using your account details. The live stream for a match may only be played on one computer using any given account.

Your computer is currently blocking pop-up windows, which means you cannot watch the match.
